Graphic Card Upgrade

I have a 2400 series dell desktop system and I would like to upgrade my graphic card, the reason is because it takes for ever for things to load,I know its an older system, but it still runs good,is their anything i can do,for this problem. thanks

Hard Drive 80gb
Graphic processor Integraded intell extreme 3D graphic Shared video
Processor Intel Celeron 2.4ghz
Buss speed 533mhz
Ram 512mb
Power Provided 250 watts

Im not in to playing any games,just want my graphics to load better hope this helps
 
There is probably no point buying parts for this Unit as the cost effective point is mute. Although I have seen new PCI graphics cards for sale (about $30AUS) there is argument that this is not any better than on board graphics in an old\second-hand laptop. Also there is the restriction of your RAM memory not being capable of much out-put, this would be a better place to make a noticeable difference to your problem although again this is probably not worth the spend.
You can in the meantime download and play some DOS Games like Doom here
 
I absolutely second ucould2. A new GPU will make no difference in performance in your present system. Your best bet is to save up and build one from scratch.
