My question is how do I update the adapter and sound driver?

You appear to have onboard video graphics and audio built into the motherboard, with only 256 mb of memory. This means you may need to add a video graphics card, and additional memory. Your board may be limited to 512 MB, and a fairly ancient video graphics socket.
So please tell us more about your computer... brand and model, or the numbers off the center of the motherboard. The 82810E could relate to a large variety of boards, so we need to know more.

I have more info...
