GTA V won't work on my monitor

My monitor does not support GTA V. What is the minimum monitor requirements for this game? I have a budget of about 200 for one monitor.

Also, I forgot I had made this thread. The problem is solved now, so I won't be needing a new monitor after all.
What I did is while the game was running and my monitor was displaying "Output is not compatible with your display," I pressed ALT + ENTER to switch the game to windowed mode, then used graphics settings in game to set the display type to full screen and the refresh rate to 60MHz.
