Yes I do Agree that Symantes is a pain. more page files = more defregmentation not too mention you can get a few good ones free on the net. like avg or even avast.

read you log file and google anything you dont recognize as i said in the post b4 yours. YES theres plenty of info in this thread to deal with it. If your version is slightly different and you find something doesnt post again and if you find a fix to that which is different then post. As I am not a tech i dont get paid to fix others pc's I just help because I sympathize with ya cuz i hated that bug. Info is all there.

I have been reading, and trying to eliminate this problem, but it seems that none of the processes that are listed in other hijack logs. I have posted my hijack log and any help would be appreciated.

The virus may not be exactly the same as the ones we all got so just look through your processes and google any that you think are suspicious. I stated ths b4 in this topic Everything that ive done to get to a solution is here. Also these solutions can be used for almost every other virus out there.

**Official note** My ISP shut me down for a day for over-active viral activity. Most ISP's try to control virus's and may do the same so if you find one and are having problem with it restart in safe mode (F8 at the start of windows, not login) this will disable any un-necessary processes you may be able to access the internet but usually not. then go through the steps to fix it. you can always save info in a notepad (.txt) format and access it in safe mode.

only the home version is a system hog, I use the corporate edition which is very light on systems.

Well looks like I am one of the many. I've had no luck resolving this on my own. Any suggestions? I have attached my HJT log.
