Hardware Malfunction with my Sony PCG-FX270K

Usually when I move the laptop screen, I get this blue screen that says hardware malfunction, system has halted. It gets really annoying and I want to find a way to fix this.

The laptop has a pentium III 850mhz, 192 mb of ram, a 20 gb hd, and is running windows 2000.

Hi

Sounds like a bad connector on the screen hinge, it could be fixable but its not something a novice should consider.

Sony may have a manual on line for it showing how to strip it down do a google on the make.

Yeah I noticed that the hinge was a little loose. It moves around when I touch it. All right I'll check it out on google and I will come back if I need any help, thanks.
