For nearly a decade, Amazon Prime Day sale has now grown into a highly anticipated bi-annual event, offering solid discounts on a wide range of products. This October's Prime Day extravaganza runs for two days (Oct 8-9) and as usual we're doing the legwork for you, sifting through countless listings to handpick some of the best tech deals available (and updating this post over the next two days).

Our selections will mostly consist of high-rated tech products that we would recommend any day, but this week, you can snag them for less. The colored number on the left is our Product Finder metascore from reviews around the web.

Paid $229 for the 5800X in 2022, may have to get a different heatsink, needed to do some video re-coding and the temp would go to 91C! 47-50C on normal desktop stuff. Not over clocked unless it is overclocking when re-coding???😲

So... do I go for some of these Pre-BF deals? Or wait for the Real BF to start in a couple of weeks?

wait, these arent really deals. Nothing against Techspot but their "retail" pricing hasnt been those prices for some time.

there is a few ok deals on SSDs, but only a few dollars. I would wait. Most on this list is outdated.

The best tech deals I found in the past were at the very random times and random stores.
I would recommend watching the items of interest for a while.
Also, some things have a tendency to go on sale often, like headphones for example.
They won't be cheaper on prime day, they will be cheaper much more often.
Honestly, I still do not know what items I would be able to be on Prime Day to save.
