HELP!! I need help about my video card

I have a Compaq presario sm153/wm. i need a graphics card to play my newer, advanced games. i bought a radeon ATI 9000 128 mb DDR Viga card, but i found out after i bought it there was so sip to fit it in. so most of my new games require either a redeon 8500 or better or a geforce 3/4/fx/6 families. what should i get to fit my pc?

well i think u have an AGP, if u do then the ATI should fit in, becuz its an AGP card

no sip to fit in? it was like impossible but have you check the AGP slot most probably should be above the PCI slots (white).
