Help with dimension 2300

i reset my computer cause i clogged it. meh

and i only had the cd to reset it. but i located the drivers online before i reset everything.

i got my soundcard. my driver works.

but i think im missing some things to use other stuff.

and im thinking of installing the SP3, any help would be appriecated

When you state only had the CD to reset it

Do you mean that you have re-installed Windows ( Xp ?) and then re-installed all drivers after that ?

If so
Then can you go to Device Manager
Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager
And confirm that you do not have any yellow querie marks showing
If you do, then these drivers have not been loaded properly.
You will need to go to your computers manufactures support web page, and download all drivers required for your Windows version.

One other issue, if this is Xp, do you have SP2 installed (the current latest Service Pack

okay, looks good.

but im trying to install SP3, i need a new computer sooner or later. i successfully installed SP2 and the update. but still can't do sp3

and everytime i click to unzip it and load all the files to make it updated.


it says win32 doesn't reconnize it?
what should i do. is there a patch for this or iam missing something?

The missing part in SP3 doesn't exist (except in Beta I think)

Your issue is SP2 - Done. And all drivers installed - Don't know

Have you installed all the drivers ?
