How to turn off windows firewall on XP Pro

When ii go to turn off windows firewall, the on (recommended) and off (not recommened) selection are both greyed out.
i have installed zonealarm and windows firewall is interferring with it.
helpp meeeeeeeeeeeeee! please!

I might be wrong here - - and I'm sure to be corrected if I am.
But either when you frst installed Zone Alarm or somewhere in the settings I'm pretty sure that it gives you the option of turning the XP firewall off.
