HP will not stream videos with sound

Model G60-458dx Older model but worked until I plugged in the headphones while streaming a youtube video. Now has no sound and has issues with video. I believe the sound card is in the hard drive. I am considering changing the hard drive to a solid state. What solid state hard drive do I need to purchase to fit my HP laptop?
