HP XE3 password

My son died 5 months ago and now I have his old HP XE3 It has a hash code of 01844 , can anyone
tell me the password from this hash code from F12.

No we cannot, also any other forum such as, tomshardware, techist, overclockers.com windows forum will not do so.
As long as you have proof of purchase, call hp and show them a digital receipt where you bought it from.
Otherwise you will be stuck with a pc that will remain hardlocked and no one can bypass it except hp technicians.

well I guess the courts have it wrong, My son's death means nothing, I have a paper weight, This was part of his estate
after death. Given to me by the Judge.In probate court.

Can anyone tell me were the CMOS battery is located on my HP XE3 laptop, It will not keep correct time anytime.
I do not know were it's located, I have looked under the keyboard, I have looked under the hard drive, I do not see it anywhere
any help on this problem. ?

Estate inventory and probate of object makes you legal owner, so you can contact HP with that proof.
Please explore HP for the manual for the laptop. Typically CMOS battery is tucked away inside in a clip on the mainboard. Careful disassembly is required.
