AT&T has announced that the selfie-focused HTC Desire EYE smartphone and the HTC RE camera, both of which were unveiled last month, will be available for purchase beginning November 7 at the company's retail and online stores. While the former will be an AT&T exclusive, the latter will be available through other outlets, too.

“Optimized for taking selfies, HTC Desire EYE is AT&T’s first smartphone with a 13MP front-facing camera and a dual LED flash”, said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president – Device Marketing and Developer Services, AT&T.

Aside from powerful front and rear cameras, the Desire EYE sports a powerful 2.3 GHz Quad-Core processor, a 2400mAh battery, 16GB of on-board storage, and up to 128GB additional storage with a microSD card.

The smartphone will set you back $149.99 on a two-year contract ($549.99 full retail), and will also be available for purchase via AT&T's Next plans -- $22.92 per month on AT&T Next 18 and $27.50 per month on AT&T Next 12.

Also launching this Friday is the HTC RE, a point and shoot camera that features a 16MP camera sensor with a 146 degree wide-angle lens. It sports a 820mAh rechargeable battery which the company claims supports 1 hour and 40 minutes of continuous 1080p High Definition recording capability, and integrates with your smartphone and user settings to automatically back up your photos and videos to the cloud.

The device, which is being marketed as GoPro for normal folks, will set you back $199, although you can save $50 if you purchase it along with the Desire Eye on an AT&T Next plan or a two-year agreement.
