Have used XP sp3 for quite awhile, and had my Firefox all set up the way I liked it.
All of a sudden, things changed at the top - basically started disappearing.
I noticed an orange Firefox button at the top left which, when opened, gives
the normal commands about bookmarking, history, etc.
Doing a little digging about other disappearing commands, I found a note that says
if I have that orange button at the top left instead of the full tool bar that I am now
using Windows 7.
That is definitely not the case - and I don't like that arrangement at all.
Just another menu to open every time I want to use one of those functions.
So - why did that change all by itself, and how do I get rid of that and go back to
my good old familiar XP / Firefox toolbar at the top?
I wish when some geek gets a wild hair to "improve" something (which, IMHO,
it often just makes it more confusing and more difficult to manipulate) they'd at least
ask people if they want the "new and better" instead of just slipping it to them.
Just because THEY think it's better (which often translates to more complicated)
doesn't mean us average users want to struggle with it!
Thanks!
