I have 2 monitor problems

The first one is, I have a gateway 19 inch i def monitor made in dec 2007 and used since feb 11 2008 till today. Was on it and the whole screen suddenly went white. tried unplugging it blowing dust out of the plugs etc, still wont work.
The second one is, I have a 25 inch lcd envision monitor that works other than the fact that it keeps going off and on off and on and will not stay on. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You have 2 more choices... Try a known good monitor, or try the suspect monitors on another PC

Both monitors sound like power issues. The flat screen if is a flat screen has probably lost a voltage in the power supply associated with the cable. The Envision monitor sounds like the high voltage section of the power supply is going open as it heats up. Try to locate a loaner supply for the LCD and test it. Other wise a new monitor is the fix.
