hard drive space problem
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on this.
A couple of weeks ago I had a major hard drive failure on my c drive.(I think it was a virus). I reformatted the drive and deleted everything that I didnt need. A few days later, SOMETHING WAS EATING MT HARD DRIVE SPACE. I admit my C drive is only 3 gig but I have coped for months on this without any problem. My hard drive space just kept falling before my eyes for no reason.
Anyway I started going though the computer and all its files and reading a lot forums and some how the problem has gone. However my hard drive space has gone with it and I want it back. I cleared my recycle bin, temp internet files, cookies, old files and all those annoying files that get left after an uninstall. Thing is, what took the space in the first place, Ive lost 500mb. ?
