I5 4670 (non K) overclocking

Hey, so I was poking around in my bios and I noticed overclocking settings. So being a pc enthusiast, I decided to check it out and see why that would be available to me. Basically it allows me to overclock the base frequency which in turn, overclocks the ram and the cpu. Anyone know why im able to overclock the non K i5?

Thanks

This will explain why even though your chip can oc and intel meant for it not to do so for particular reasons.
Watch what you do in the bios settings be sure to step up to a newer air cooler or look into water cooling.

Thanks for the reply, I already have a hyper t4 on it and wasnt really keen on overclocking if it wasnt meant to be.
