I have a very similar problem to techspot.com/vb/topic48149.html but the answers there don't seem to apply to me.
The issue is that IE is painfully slow to first open, takes about 30 seconds. After that is takes about 10. I do not have this problem with Mozilla. Although very happy to poke Bill Gates in the eye and use Mozilla, I must use IE for CMS websites I run.
Attached is the Hijack this log and I am hoping that one of you lovely "squints" as Agent Booth from Bones affectionately calls you, can help me. No offence intended as I am a Squint wannabe!
