Iexplorer in task manager, did all 8 steps

  1. PC freezes, programs freeze, windows wont shut down, etc. All started last Friday. Took PC to a tech shop and uopn return still have same problem especially with IE - 3-4 steps and it freezes. I'v run all instructions on your ste and here are the three logs requested.

    Hi Kurt,
    that's my first name too. What did the tech shop tell you? This may be a problem with memory or corrupted files on your hard drive and not a virus or malware problem

    I agree, according to HijackThis, you don't have any problems and all you have on your computer is adware which I'm guessing you deleted.

    Unfortunately, no one noticed there are no Services listed in the HijackThis log.

    Kurtman, there should be a section on the bottom of the HijackThis log with 023 entries. If all of those Services have been disabled, your system isn't going to run. Suggest you rescan with HJT and paste in new, complete log. If the Services still aren't listed, then I will refer you to a different forum.
