  1. Hey there I have just upgraded my graphics cards yet I cant get my framerate to increase i need suggestions on how to tweak the settings for better performance as well as decent graphics.
My machine is currently a AMD Anthalon 64 3400+ at 2.01ghz with 1GB of RAM and ive got 2x BFG 8400 512MB video cards in SLI mode. Im really trying to increase the framerate of WoW which is currently running at a average 22 fps. My monitors refresh rate is 75mhz. Thanks!

I would try setting the refresh rate to be 60hz

I actually just realized your monitor has a 12ms response time, so you may be out of luck

you really need a monitor with 8ms response or better

Hmm ok thanks im going to go ahead and upgrade to a widescreen then with 8ms like you said. I hadnt even thought it was a monitor problem until you mentioned it so I lowered my res which did end up helping to boost my fps. Thanks for the info :)
