Insignia TV with box??

with this * http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Verizon-Qip2500-Set-1006/dp/B003T8B3BU/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt

& would simply like to know if the box goes with it & if so how do I get the box hooked up? I have tried numerous times with zero success. Currently the box is NOT connected or even plugged in.

* I have no idea where the box was purchased at.

The box can be used with tv . It is a dvr

Oh my gosh, does it require a separate remote control?

Most likly it does. If you have a universal. Remote. You maybe able to program it to work with the dvr.
