Intel GL40 Chipset Ram Upgrade

Hey Everyone, I have a laptop (Emachines 725) Intel Pentium T4200 Dual Core Processor with Intel GL40 Chipset and Windows 10 32 bit. I'm fully aware that chipset Intel GL40 only supports a maximum of 4gb of ram with a memory type of DDR2 667 MHz/ PC2-5300s. I have seen some products are available with 4gb PC2-5300s not only to PC2-6400 which is 800mhz. Is it compatible to put 2x4gb PC2-5300s in my GL40 Chipset? I would really upgrade my os to 64bit and runs heavy applications or games.

Is it compatible to put 2x4gb PC2-5300s in my GL40 Chipset?

No - the 4 GB hard limit is for the total. So the only acceptable combinations are 1 x 4 GB or 2 x 2 GB. The following would be a suitable memory kit:
