Is there a better monitor out there for $170?

I know its refurbished but heck my mouse is refurbished and has worked great for almost 2 years.

I will use it for watching high quality movies and playing games at max settings.

It looks like it has an audio - out port on the back, so that will be fine.

I am close to buying this sucker any advice? How much better would it look compared to my 5 year old 720p monitor? Is there a better one out there for under 200$?

That one actually looks really nice, besides the refurbed part which IMO I hate refurbed things, and I wouldnt compare refurbed mouse quality to a refurbed monitor quality. But hey if you dont mind that part, its a good monitor.
But if your willing to throw in a extra $50 or so, I would HIGHLY recommend this monitor

I just bought one about 2 months ago and it is indeed amazing.
But if you do consider this monitor, dont be fooled by it saying built in speakers, thats a reason I got it, but then found out it just has an audio out port, but then I just hooked it up to my stereo system and I was happy.
