Hi, I did the 15 steps for cleaning my pc, and it has found a js downloader agent and a rootkit.

I hope I did it right.

You didn`t give us the results of the Panda Antirootkit scan. Please do so in your next reply. Also, you have posted the Combofix qurantine log, rather than the actual Combofix log as per the instructions.

Delete all files in AVG Antispyware quarantine.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {4B654CFB-AD99-4024-A740-D7A796666315} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\jkhhg.dll (file missing)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

Fix all O18 - Protocol: entries.

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT and reboot your system.

Delete the following folder.

C:\Qoobox.

Post fresh HJT and Combofix logs.

hi, here are the new logs. I forgot the name of the rootkit so I did the pandarootkit scan again and the rootkit was gone.

All the entries I asked you to fix in your last HJT log are still there. Please run HJT and fix the entries as outlined in my post above.

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the code box below into it:
NOTE* make sure to only highlight and copy what is inside the quote box nothing out side of it.
Also ..

Pay particular attention to this :-

Make sure the word File:: is on the first line of the text file you save (no blank line above it, & no space in front of it)
Code:

File::
C:\WINDOWS\system32\netlogun.exe

Save this as CFScript.txt

Then drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe as you see in the screenshot below.

This will start ComboFix again. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply together with a fresh HJT log.

I'm sorry, last time I posted the hjt log that was made before I fixed all those things.

That all looks clean.

Delete the following folder.

C:\Qoobox

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how HERE.

Now, turn system restore back on. This will have deleted all your old restore points and any nasties that are in them. It will also have created a new, clean restore point.


If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.
