Keyboard replacement? For lg gram 17 in laptop

so cleaned the sticking A key several times...
And the cup underneath ....
since I know 0 about circuitry / wirings etc
looks like my final resort is to replace the complete keyboard.
BUT... tech support for this product is poor !
any recommendations?

Every bit of research I could do looks as though it is a mostly universal procedure for replacing any LG laptop keyboard so check the video below.
