Laptop audio problems

Ok I'm just going to go straight in the point. When ever my laptop picks up noise it pauses all audio and mutes any calls im currently on. please help thank you

I am assuming you have some softphone software, what kind is it? Do you use DSL and if you do, do you use a DSL filter?
