Laptop keyboard malfunction

After foolishly cleaning my laptop (Acer Aspire 5750) whilst switched on I now find that some keys don't work properly. eg typing a "b" gives nbu, typing a "q" gives zq, typing a "5" gives 65, the spacebar gives , j etc etc. Can anyone please help?

Thank you. I'm sure the problem is a consequence of hitting several keys simultaneously whilst wiping the keyboard with a damp cloth. It's actually a low mileage machine.
