Laptop touchpad lag issue

So i have a timeline x which i highly recommend, has one issue i cant seem to solve.
When i type it disables the touch pad, therefore, not letting me use the touch pad when i want to play games. Does anyone have a fix for this because acer wants to charge me 180$ to talk to them.

Move the PalmCheck slider to the fourth tick from the left in your Synaptics Device Settings under Sensitivity, hit OK, and the problem should go away immediately.

Just registered to say thanks for fixing this issue! I just opened my girlfriend's brother's new Acer laptop and was extremely disappointed by this behavior but I'm glad it was fixable by moving a slider one tick to the left.
