Logitech will intentionally brick Harmony Link devices next year

Do you actually want a touch based remote or a regular remote? If you just want a touch based remote, there are plenty of app that will let your phones acts as a remote for your PC.
Well the problem is my new and improved phone doesn't have the ir blaster like the previous versions so I can't control A/V devices. I know I can use a wifi/bluetooth to ir blaster adapter/hub but I don't want to go that route due to spacing issues. I just want a remote with all the fuctionalities of the harmony remotes but one that actually works.

It might just be easier to buy a phone / tablet that does have IR and use it solely as a remote.

Well that looks like a pc remote management app, not a remote control. And that would not work for A/V devices. Thanks for the idea though.

Yeah, I figured it might not be for everyone and yes it only works with PC. There are plenty of IR blaster Apps if you want to check them out though.
