Looking to upgrade vidoecard(s)

I am currently running a EVGA 122-CK-NF68-T1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SL mobo with SLI 8800 gts cards. I am looking to upgrade the video card(s). I was looking for input on a suggested better card.

I don't know too much about the 8800GTS Series of Card, but I have been told they're very good Cards. Look at upgrading to two 9800GTX+ or something like that?

Or you could go with two GTX260s.

I don't know if the Preformance Boost with the 9800GTX+ Cards would be worth it tho.

Budget is flexible as it would be cheaper than a new rig.

DX11 would be fine if/when I upgrade to Win 7. I'll let that be out for a bit before I upgrade.

I play at differing resolutions. Playing at the higher res even on SLI beat my current rig up on Crysis. (I thought SLI would be definitive difference once I went SLI, but I didn't notice a huge difference.)
