I just built two new computers with Corsair Force Series 3 SSD, and until I can convince my boss to start upgrading computers to Win7, they will be running XP Pro.
The only thing they will be used for is running QuickBook: Point of Sale. Since a 320 gig hdd and a 60 gig SSD are about the same price and I don't need more than about ~40gigs on the server computer I decided to go with the speed over unneeded capacity.
Now I'm just wondering if there is anything I should do to help keep the SSD 'healthy'. I don't believe XP natively supports TRIM. Should I install a 3rd party software that does? Is there anything else I should be doing?
Thanks!
