Paying for privacy rights. Nice. And only $17??? Why so low Mark? Of course, 10 years from now, Meta will have to change it's name again when it's found that it was still taking all your data anyways.
Hell, there's a news or forum topic above that mentioned that Meta used our FB account info to train it's own AI.
For text, I'm sure that they have the right to do that due to anyone signing the EULA, but other things like photos are still protected under copyright law in many countries.
I wonder if all these companies will just set up their HQ in a tax haven country? No offices in countries with pesky laws to worry about. I have NO idea if that would work, but I feel like we're getting to that point.
