Microsoft rushes out emergency updates to fix a broken Windows Patch Tuesday

The technical debt in the OS is so off the charts now they can barely maintain it, yet alone add new components.
Nothing short of complete and utter repudiation of Windows 11, by the public and the usage numbers, is going to force Microsoft's hand in fixing the mess they've created.

They want to discard the legacy of an OS that serves the user, for one that serves the corporation, and be lauded for it. They deserve nothing but scorn and ridicule for their absolutely abhorrent stewardship of their product lineage.

Patches for patches for patches....

Microsoft is a bunch of incompetent fools.

I think that sums things up very well.

Edit: The quote, above, by ZedRM, was edited. An interesting addition. Check updated out!

Edit: Re edited for my own grammatical slop.

Yep.

It's both sad, and sadly true.

When your patch needs six emergency patches, something in the process is broken.

There’s a weird disconnect between Microsoft talking about agentic OS visions and users just wanting their PC to boot, connect, and turn off properly.

Reliability doesn’t get hype headlines, but it’s what actually builds trust.

"In response, some angry users have adopted the nickname "Microslop," but Nadella would very much like you stop using the slop word to fully embrace the hallucinated AI paradigm." HA HA HA HA! If the microcode mess up fits, blame the AI paradigm.

Nice. Thanks to your post as of now I have full adopted and embraced the far more representaive name for MS.

Microslop, is perfect!!

Edit: It doesn't even require changing the abrev. MS. Perfect, MicroSlop it is. I really hope this catches on - everywhere!

I am switching next year to Apple because they have announced to using intel chip in their laptops so Microsoft to take notice of this development.
