i am going to buy a motherboard/processor bundle for an atx case.
Unfortunately i have found none for my budget of £120.
i wolud be grateful if anyone could suggest the right one for my new case.
i live in uk so i dont ship products from overseas.

Iv'e heard that some cases a CPU can be difficult to install. is this true?

I like the Cpu u recommended will they run fallout 3 and gears of war ok?

LGA 775 CPUs are very easy to install and there are a number of video tutorials on Youtube and the like which show you how to do it properly.

And yes, the CPU will be good enough for any game, and the performance you get will depend far more heavily on how powerful your graphics card is. A very fast CPU paired with an abysmal graphics card guarantees rubbish performance compared to a slower CPU combined with a fast GPU, assuming the latter isn't bottlenecked by the slower CPU in any way.

The 8600GT is a lower-end card that's not suited for gaming. I'd recommend at least an HD 4670 for smooth gaming performance. But that'd probably require a more powerful PSU, so stick with the 8600GT for now. It can run most games decently on medium detail settings.
