This issue has been driving me nuts for days now. Sometimes, when I move it, my mouse will randomly stop working. I can then plug it to a different usb port and it will work again, but after a while (can be a few minutes, can be a few hours if I'm lucky) this will repeat.
Then once I go through all 3 usb ports on my computer, I can reset the computer and ports will start to work for my mouse again. Usually I have to reset my computer about every 4 hours.
I tried using a different mouse, in that case a wireless one; same issue it would stop working soon enough on each port.
I tested the usb ports - even when they couldn't detect the mouse plugged into them, they still seemed to be working fine for anything else - I could connect my phone through them and pass files np.
My computer's a laptop, it's 4 years old, it's of an obscure Austrian brand called ChiliGREEN (basically nothing's written about it anywhere) and it has windows 10 installed on it.
