My C Drive won't open

I recently picked up some viruses that caused my C drive not to open. I have removed all the viruses however my C drive will not open. How can I restore and/or view files on this drive? Win XP - OS

Open My Computer
Right Click on C drive
Select Open

Now in this folder (C Drive) there will be an "autorun.inf" file (you may need to select "show all files" in folder options, to see it)

The inf should not be there, please remove it

Check opening C drive again after that

Got it taken care of. There was still a virus there. I use run/regidit to restore some files. I'm in business!
