My external hard drive wont show anymore, Any ideas why ? it was fine until I installed a new M.2 boot drive.

Sometimes in computer management you can go to storage and change the drive letter and it will show up. Could be they're sharing the same drive letter

You can google external hdd won't show up after installation of m.2 boot drive, there are several good suggestions.

Hi,

As per the screenshot you shared, it shows that your drive has lost its file system, which is why it turned into RAW and showed the Unallocated status. To fix this issue, go to disk management, do right-click on the unallocated drive and click on the "change drive letter" option. Once you change the drive letter, just remove the drive and insert it back to see if it starts getting detected.
