I am unable tomove my PS2 mouse. I tried reebooting my pc by plugging and unplugging my mouse but it doesn't work. my device manager is not listing the mouse option.

Have you tried using a different mouse to see if the mouse is the problem? How about trying a USB mouse to see if that works? You say you tried re-booting the pc by unplugging and plugging in the mouse, does this mean that you simply unplugged the mouse or did you actually try shutting down the computer and re-starting it (the proper way through your Operating System)?
