My new RX 480 Strix fans stop working

So only few days ago I bought rx 480 strix , and now it happens that sometimes it just randomly goes to 100% fan speed , stays there for 5 secs and stops working entirely, I can't even set % manually it just won't work unless I restart my whole PC and then it starts working normally on auto mode again. Any ideas on what is going on ?

Sounds like software utility which you are using just may be the issue ("starts working normally on auto mode")

Suggest you go to support section of the card's manufacturer and see if issues have been reported. If no answer and still an issue, start a support ticket.
