My PC doesn't detect my Hitachi 320GB HDD

hello,

im kinda worried about my HDD. My pc can't recognize it whenever i plugged it in. It was not like this before, it used to work properly. I don't know what happened.

I have a Hitachi 320 gb HDD. My pc can't detect it but when I plug it in another pc, it was detected. I tried to change the cord hoping that it was the problem but the same thing happens with the newly bought cord. I think there is nothing wrong with the HDD nor the connector/cord. I suspect there's something wrong with my pc.

By the way, if this helps, this is the specs of my pc:
