Need an adjustable monitor

We have put our desktop computer on our roll top desk. The top will not close with our present monitor (dell). I need either a short monitor or one that will adjust up and down to about 13 inches.

We are not gamers but would like speakers in the monitor to eliminate them from the desk.

I have not been able to get the info I need when shopping online to tell if a monitor will fit or not so I need some personal recommendations.

Can you give the exact dimensions of the space you have available. If you check Newegg.com you may be able to search for monitors with height adjustment.

The width is not an issue, the desk is plenty wide. When closing the desk there is about a 13inch clearance. I have checked on Newegg but they don't give good measurements. Thanks

I was on a course where all the pc's used HP monitors, which had a type of canterlever stand, and would go from almost touching the desk at the bottom edge, to about 8" higher off the desk. Not much help I know, but they do exist.
