Need bootable environment for Windows XP Pro - Dell D810 Latitude

Our Dell Latitude D810 laptop has contracted a virus and we need to reboot it. Right now it stays on the Windows screen and won't come off. If anyone knows where I can find the driver numbers or a bootable environment that would be helpful. We were running Windows XP pro on it, but we purchased it refurbished, so we don't have the software to reinstall anything. If there is a way to get to the desktop screen I can remove the viruses and get the computer up and running, but I am not computer literate enough to know how to get off the loading screen...

You are going to have to get a XP install disc from a friend if possible. You need to wipe the hard drive and install Windows fresh

We have a Windows XP disc for our PC, but it is not XP pro, we have been told that won't work on the laptop since it isn't quite the same version...is that true?
