Need master code to unlock my bios on a Dell Inspiron 5555

Hello I really need help I need the master code to my Dell Inspiron 5555 I got it from a friend he gave it to me cause he knows I needed one for school but he never turn it on to see if it works or if it was lock so ive been searching til I came here and saw that there was people on here getting help so I hope some one can help me out

You may have to contact Dell, of course they may ask you for your proof of purchase, in case this laptop was stolen at one time

Provided that the Dell laptop is not stolen, your friend should have transferred ownership to you through Dell (using the Service Tag). Of course, whoever owned the laptop before your friend should have done the same for him. Dell might not help without a legitimate transfer of ownership.
