Nepal bans PUBG at the request of schools and parents

Should probably ban movies then. They make sex and violence seem so casual while also skewing the human values of society and what the norm should be, yeah?

Let's be real violent games cause violent behaviour , those who likes those games will not accept this fact , that' proven . Obviously banning a game will not resolve the problem , parent must pay close attention to their kids do on the phone . This something serious and we need to protect our youth ,not matter what it takes .
Violent games do NOT cause violent behaviour. Because, if they did, I would be a homicidal maniac. I've been playing shooting and killing games for over 30 years.
You CAN say that violent games are a factor in causing violent behaviour. Just as a lack of strong parenting is a factor. As is the environment that the child grows up in (school, friends, peer pressure, unemployment, local crime, access to weapons, impacted loved ones, religion, and various other influences). Maybe even genetics as well, who knows.

Also, why is PUBG banned but not Fortnite? Surely Fortnite is far more addictive. Perhaps it's because it has cartoon-like graphics so the parents do not realise that it's as "destructive" to children as PUBG.

Weird............................. When my friends or I are angry, playing video games tends to cool us down. If I or my friends bar hop, drink, party etc and listen to violent rap music it tends to PUMP UP OUR ADRENALINE AND WE TEND TO DO NOT SO GOOD THINGS.

NOTE : This was back in 2002-2010 era. Me? I think it's music. Music tends to get into humans emotionally.

Nah no way, definitely has to be the Y2K virus. That's got to be it. I mean it could never have been alcohol right?

Good example of how music influences peoples brains, play David Banner ( work that cli*) to a girl and chances are they get horny. It's true! When the song came out I played it to a few girls in my car and they admitted it got them wet and horny. Music seems to brainwash or influence human brains. Like I said I blame music not games.

I'm not criticizing you, just poking fun at the fact that people just find every excuse to point blame at something for their own benefit. Not specifically saying alcohol/music is the real reason or anything. I think you get where I'm going with this haha.

Violent games are causing violence and giving kids bad ideas. How do we know that? Because violent games that are explicitly racist, or turned against rich people, or gays, or Jews, don't really exist (or if they exist, they get banned). Why would such games be banned, if they don't cause copycat behavior?

If you believe those fake "scientific studies" they've "proven" that violent games actually reduce violence, because kids do virtual violence instead of practicing it on street. Well... following that logic, they should allow games where you only shoot black people. Because then racists will practice virtual racism, instead of real racism. Right? Nope. Because we know such games could condition youngsters to think that racism is okay. Which is why those games are banned.

Which proves the fact, that games cause copycat behavior. Even though game vendors won't admit it and they are ready to finance "independent studies" to prove that games have absolutely no influence on the brains of kids. Which is total BS. Everything you watch or hear influences your brain.
