Networking share of C drives XP and Vista

Hi,

Have laptop with Vista Home Premium and Desktop with XP Pro SP3.
Both connected to a router.

I want to have complete access to all files and folders from each computer to the other.

I have succeeded in getting access to the XP C drive from Vista computer, but cannot access C drive on Vista computer from XP computer.

I have shared the C drive on the Vista computer and can see it from the XP computer, but access is always denied.

Do some reading on how to setup your networking with My Network places, and setting up the sharing mode in VISTA. It will work, but takes too long to post here.
You start by setting up the network, file sharing, and printer sharing on the VISTA Machine, the setup the WXP.

i did all that crap and it ain't working
if you would READ MY POST, you would see that. Otherwise, computers would not be able to see each other, I wouldn't be able to do all the stuff I said I CAN do in my ORIGINAL post.
