New computer build, no signal to the monitor

Hello,

I am experiencing some problems setting up my system.

Here are the specs:

LITE-ON 24X DVD Writer Internal Model IHAS324
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB
MSI 990XA-GD55
Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7750 1GB
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular High Performance Power Supply
ASUS VS248H-P Black 24" HDMI LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor
AMD HDZ965FBK4DGM Phenom II X4 965 Processor

When the system is setup and plugged in, the tower and all the fans turns on, the lights on the motherboard turn on to the "8 phase power' but I don't get a signal on my monitor. The monitor works and the cords work, I swapped out the graphics card with the one on my work computer and it works as well. When the system turns on there is no beeping noise and it does not post. I have tried unplugging everything except 1 stick of RAM, the PSU, and the video card and there is still no signal on the monitor and it does not post. I have also tried unplugging everything and plugging it back in to no avail.

Is this a motherboard issue?

Thanks.

It's probably the memory palcement. The MSI motherboard RAM slots are configured slightly different from other boards. Ensure that you've put your RAM sticks in the first RAM slot (second from the CPU) and the second similar colored slot.
