Newbie Windows Problem with Shortcut

Hi I am trying to solve computer problems because I am tired of not knowing anything. So far so good, but I have an annoying problem. I tried to make a shortcut on my desktop to a web site. I keep getting an error message saying windows can't find this site or identify it. Ironically it will let me go into the web site but I get this noise than this message. Like it doesn't like the shortcut. Oh great, just when I tell you guys about it than it looks like it working. I don't know what causes this. Never had any problems with shortcuts before. Just added Firefox update. maybe that is what did it. Cleaned out my browsers, etc.

I am a real newbie. I have fixed my printer a couple of times, and am not afraid to try things, but I pretty much don't know zilch. So I am just hoping this site can give me some insight. Ha!! I will be putting up my profile soon.

Thanks for any help out there.

Okay, seem you are having some problem with the link toward Mozilla Firefox.

Open up the Internet Explorer 7, go to opinion and set it as default explorer.
Close the IE7, and open Firefox.
Do the same thing to Firefox, use it as default.

Your link should be fixed.
