While Nvidia has recently updated their GeForce game bundles to include The Witcher 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight with high-end GeForce cards, AMD has let their Never Settle bundle stagnate. The current package, Never Settle: Space Edition, has been available since September last year, with the most recent game on offer being Alien: Isolation.

With no update to the Never Settle program on the horizon, Newegg has decided to take game bundling into their own hands. The online retailer is distributing free copies of Grand Theft Auto V and Dirt Rally with purchases of select Radeon graphics cards for a limited time.

High-end Radeon GPUs, specifically the Radeon R9 290 and R9 290X, come with both GTA V and Dirt Rally, while all other Radeon R9 series cards come with just Dirt Rally (except one R9 280X that includes both games). Cards in AMD's Radeon R7 series or lower don't come with any free games.

According to AMD, the inclusion of GTA V with select high-end Radeons was a decision made by Newegg and the OEMs, with AMD not being directly involved. However, the Dirt Rally bundle for all Radeon R9 cards was silently launched by the company last week, and should be available at other retailers.

GTA V and Dirt Rally together are worth around $95, which adds a decent amount of value to a card like Sapphire's Radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC: the cheapest R9 290 at $249.99 after a $20 rebate. Although with new Radeons expected to launch early next month, it might be worth waiting a little longer before you buy a new card.
