ive tried 2 different monitors and nothing works.. it turns on and then after the computer boots up all the monitor says is "no signal" any one know how to fix the problem????

Start your computer in Safe Mode (by pressing F8 at system startup)
Un-install any graphics drivers from Add\remove programs, and from Device Manager (Start->Run-> Devmgmt.msc), and remove it from there too
Then restart you computer back to Normal Mode
Then download and install the newest graphics drivers from your manufacturer's support page

no... i cant see anything on my monior except for "no signal"

after you follow Kims advice, and if it still doesnt work, try examining your VgA and or DVI connectors. they can tend to get banged up when moving the computer around and have alot of leverage put on them (particularly if you are using a DVI to VGA adapter) and can break a connection from the graphic card board, had it happen before, and that would give you the floating 'no signal' message
