Outlook contacts are vanished

hi guys,

i am facing with a problem with outlook 2003 contacts. we have a new employee and his laptop was already configured with emails of his previous company. i have just removed his email accounts and archived his mails. then configured new email account and imported our contact list as .csv file. after these i can see only the new addresses in the contacts folder. all the previous were got vanished which is very important to him. his previous mails are all there. only the contacts are missing. but if he started composing a mail , by typing the letters in "to" field, some addresses are showing.

is there any way to get that contact list back? we are suing POP3 mail system.

you have to tell outlook to use those contacts. Click on the contacts portion of outlook at you should see two options Outlook contacts and Contacts in Personal Folders. Outlook wont mix them together. You have to drag them into the desired folder since they don;t show up together

but i cant see that folder in my contacts.there is only one and it is having the new contacts only.
