PC doesn't log off! BIOS?

Hey everyone Im new to all of this!!

I have recently installed some new memory into my pc and now the silly thing doesn't like to log off! It reboots and I have to do it via SAFE MODE! Someone said this could be the BIOS. I have a link to follow to try and reset them/it but it doesn't seem to work. Have tried the battery out to no avail. What key is it on the F buttons to access it whilst booting up and what is it you have to do once you do that?

Any answers would be gratefully received.
